The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The room I stayed in was clean and had a comfortable bed. Lastly, the breakfast served was simple yet delicious.

Within short walking distance to thai market as, where you can have lunch. Very close to the airport, 16 miles. Fine base for a city trip in Fredrikstad! I liked the location

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, just a short walk away from restaurants and attractions. the room decor is charming and the bathrooms are comfortable. the friendly staff provide helpful service, and the breakfast offers a decent selection.
There is one aspect of the hotel that detracts from the positive experience. the hallway wallpaper is outdated and unappealing, which can be a letdown upon first sight.

Staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. We had a very early departure, and they worked with us to make sure we had something to take with us for breakfast. It is equal walking distance to both the train station and the bus depot where you have access to other locations in Norway. It was a little difficult to find, but it was worth it once we got to the hotel. Nice bathroom with tub and shower. Comfortable beds. Nice lobby for relaxing outside of your room and plenty to do in the town.

Very helpful staff. Superb breakfast buffet. Clean comfortable room. Good central location for Fredrikstad, a pleasant Norwegian city. Easy access from Oslo Rygge Airport (25 mins). Chose to stay there rather than drive into Oslo after a late flight.
Charge of 150 Kr. a bit expensive for covered parking, but alternative was probably on the street

I stayed only one night and left at 5 am to get to the airport at Rygge. Night watchman was helpful and served us coffee and juice while waiting for taxi. Nothing else available. No food served in the evening, the restaurant is for breakfast only. Our double room with two single beds was small but OK, and bathroom was very nice.

We booked a triple room with an extra bed, when we arrived we were told they didn't do triple rooms with an extra bed. However they said we are quite happy for you to have 2x double rooms for the same price. Which was an excellent deal. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection to choose from.

The common areas, such as dining room, and the fairly central location.
The staff (one person) was trying to be helpful, but really didn't know the hotel well enough. The beds were very narrow, 75 cm wide or less. When asking for a twin bed for my elderly parents, we had to relocate them, and the room was tiny. My wife and I wanted a double, but the same tiny beds turned out to be twin beds put together so we fell between them at night. Information about the distance to resturants was really misleading (11-13 blocks instead of the said two blocks), so I had to walk back to the hotel and get the car for my elderly parents. The hotel boasts a resturant but it was reserved for a private party.
